About Blue Skies Paragliding
Blue Skies Paragliding offers air experience tandem flights to the general public. No prior knowledge of the sport is required by the passenger, as your instructor will give you all the information you need on the day.
The majority of flights will be performed by Josh who is the CFI of the school. Josh has been flying paragliders for over ten years and has shared his passion for flying with people all over the world. During peak season the school calls upon a number of highly experienced dual instructors to assist with flights. All our instructors have flown hundreds of tandem flights and thousands of flights by themselves perfecting their flying skills.
The School also provides tuition to low air time pilots that would like to improve their flying skills under the very close supervision of an onboard instructor. We have found that the tandem is an incredibly powerful tool to demonstrate and teach the sometimes subtle techniques used to get high and go far.

Where and When We Fly.
We have access to ten flying sites located between the stunning white cliffs of Beachy Head to the beautiful rolling South Downs that surround Devils Dyke. On any given day the choice of hill to fly from is determined by the winds speed and direction. If you have your heart set on flying at a particular site then we will do our best to contact you when we have favourable conditions, however you may have to be patient.
There are hundreds of active pilots in our club so it is essential we meet at a designated location at a specified time. This information will be given to you when you contact us on 07429113119 the evening before your flight when we can also confirm if the weather is forecast to be suitable.
Please read our F.A.Q section to find out more and if you have any additional queries please don’t hesitate to contact us via phone or e-mail.
